Enjoying the Journey

I can't wait to see how this turns out. I have so much to learn and am excited to do so. My biggest fear is the time I will spend away from my family reading blogs, etc. Sometimes I feel the computer screen is like a magic portal that sucks me in and when I come back out hours have passed in what seems like a matter of minutes.

    I am often accused of ignoring my wife while I am sucked in to my own computer screen at home.

    Very well put! I raise my head from the screen and the lights are turned off and everyone is in bed. Why do I love this machine so much? What draws me in so completely?

    Boy you said it Mary. I sit down at the computer to do half an hour of work, and hours later, after the magic portal opens back up and spits me out... My daughter has actually brought in the kitchen timer and said "OK Mom, you got 30 minutes, go."
